Angeline was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2020 and joined VIRGILAW in 2021. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Southern Bicol Colleges in 2019. She is also a graduate of Bicol University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and holds a Civil Service Professional Eligibility.
Prior to joining VIRGILAW, Angeline worked as a Project Development Officer II at the Department of Social Welfare and Development under the Promotive Services Unit.
Angeline’s practice focuses on trademark litigation and prosecution. With more than two years in the practice, she was able to advise and represent a wide range of clients, both local and foreign, in the protection and litigation of their IP rights. She has gained ample experience in inter partes proceedings and has secured favorable decisions in opposition and cancellation cases involving trademarks. She has also assisted local and foreign clients fight off infringers. Additionally, she has provided support to clients in navigating sales promotion applications with the Department of Trade and Industry. She has also aided clients in ensuring compliance with relevant advertising laws in the country.
