Phillip obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the San Beda College of Law and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2008. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of the Philippines.
With over 14 years of experience in the field, Phillip is regarded as a highly skilled and accomplished IP lawyer and has successfully represented clients in a wide array of IP matters, including trademark and copyright registration and enforcement, patent prosecution and litigation, trade secret protection, IP licensing and transactions, and IP audits. He is well-versed in both domestic and international IP laws and has a proven track record of securing favorable outcomes for his clients. He is an active member of various IP organization and stays updated with the latest developments in IP law through continuous professional development and participation in industry conferences and seminars, including trainings for IP Protection Lawyers (2014) and Practitioner’s Specializing in Trademarks (2016), both under the auspices of the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
